Motherhood to Icon

Three months after the birth of her son, Sean, Audrey began work on the adaptation of Truman Capote’s novella entitled, Breakfast At Tiffany’s.  Audrey's spirited portrayal of Holly Golightly and her high fashion 'style' and 'sophistication' became synonymous with her. Nearly fifty years later, Audrey still remains the irrefutable icon of both.

Her next role was in The Children’s Hour opposite Shirley MacLaine and James Garner, reuniting Audrey with director, William Wyler (Roman Holiday).  Audrey then took time off to be with Sean and spent the rest of 1962 overseas traveling and enjoying time with friends and family.
