Judicial Resource Program


The Judicial Resource Conference.

Hosted by Sean Cummings’ International House Hotel in New Orleans, sponsored by the Fund and supported by the National Association of Women Judges, this three-day round table conference brought juvenile and family court judges from around the nation together with legal, medical and mental health professionals working in the area of child abuse and neglect.  Discussions focused on judicial education, issues involving the treatment of victims of child abuse and neglect, improving the management of child abuse cases, and the child victim’s experience within the judicial system.  The Fund, along with the conference participants, are completing a curriculum for implementation by the judicial colleges.
